Does Rally Radar work without a bike computer or app?+
Yes. Rally Radar has built-in audible alerts, so you can use it without a phone, app or bike computer.
How far behind me can it detect a vehicle?+
Rally Radar can detect approaching vehicles up to 200 ft (60 m) behind you under suitable riding conditions. Detection range may vary depending on the road layout, vehicle position and surroundings.
What do the different beeps mean?+
One beep means an approaching vehicle has been detected. Two beeps mean it has entered the closer warning zone.
Can I turn the audible alerts off?+
Yes. The audible alerts can be switched off when you prefer to use the tail light without sound.
Will it fit my bike?+
Mounts are included for round, D-shaped and aero seatposts. If your seatpost has an unusual profile, check the measurements in the product specifications.
How long does the battery last?+
Between 3 and 6 hours per charge depending on the light mode. Slow flash runs the longest at about 6 hours, solid and breathing modes about 3 hours. Recharging goes over USB-C in about 2 hours.
Can I use it in the rain?+
Yes. Rally Radar carries an IPX6 water-resistance rating, which means it is sealed against heavy rain and spray from any direction. Ride through wet weather without worry. It is not made to be submerged.
Does it work in curves and blind spots?+
Yes. The radar has a wide detection angle, which helps it pick up vehicles in gentle bends and blind spots. Very sharp corners or obstacles blocking the line of sight can still limit detection.
Does it replace looking behind me?+
No. Rally Radar adds another layer of awareness, but it does not replace looking, listening or riding responsibly.
